The Lamb of God, my Savior is He.
He died on the cross, and He did it for me.
He lay in a grave, dead there they say.
But then He arose on that glorious third day!


Easter is the time we remember as when,
You died on the cross to wash away sin.
Your love goes beyond what man can perceive,
It's even far stronger than we can believe!


Why else would You die, if not for the love?
You could have called angels from above!
They would have taken You down from the cross,
But then the world would have suffered great loss!


Dear Lord, I'm so thankfull You were willing to die.
To wash away the sins of those such as I.
You live in my heart while on this earth I trod,
Then I'll be in Heaven, with the precious Lamb of God!
