All coming from afar,
Were guided by the friendly light
Of Bethlehem’s bright star.

And guide our little pilgrim feet
Our risen Lord to view.

Enjoyed the happy lot
Of following that brilliant guide
Which marked the sacred spot.

3. May we, the favored few,
Be guided from above,
That we may follow on to know
The bliss of perfect love.

Extolled the Infant King;
But we "behold the Lamb of God"—
To Him our carols sing.
