Clothed in shame, at noon she came,
An empty jar, a sinful name.
The sun was burning her soul dry,
The Word Himself opened the sky.

The Living Water asked to drink,
His loving eyes without a blink.
“I am not worthy,” the woman said,
His grace and mercy softly spread.

“There’s no more thirst for your dry soul,
For I have come to make you whole.”
A free new life, a changed mind—
She left her jar, her past behind.

Inside her, a joyful burst:
“Come see the One who quenched my thirst!
Come see the One who made me free
And filled my soul eternally!”

At Jacob’s well, the sun still shines,
The Living Water gently smiles.
