Somebody knocked at your door

I: At your door, He gently knocked… patiently
But there’s none to open it. : I
In the darkness of the night, One Man is still waiting,
I: He is full of wounds and blood; in the cold, He’s crying. : I

I: Lonely stranger, who are you? ... who are you?
What are the things that you pursue? : I
For whose sake you have endured, the cross, and nails and beating?
I: For whose sake you carry still… such a heavy burden? : I

I: I’m The Man who came to serve… love-offering,
I’m The Man of suffering. : I
No one paid me for my deeds… only thorns and hatred,
I: I did not open my mouth… oppressed and afflicted. : I

I: I’m The Broken Bread for all… taste and see,
The Wine… drink and you’ll be free. : I
I’m not crying, no complain, for you I’ll die again,
I: But I weep when you don’t respond and I knock in vain I

I: At your door, He gently knocked… patiently
Oh, I pray, you’ll open it. : I
Do not let Him again pass by, He might knock no more,
I: Open please to Him today, He’s still at your door. : I
